On September 1, 2002, the ancient truism that every difficulty also represents an opportunity for a new beginning assumed a new dimension for Christian Eschler AG in Buehler (CH). This was the date on which the company plant was flooded, just a few days before the globally renowned specialist for knits celebrated its 75th anniversary. Everything was prepared for the company anniversary on September 13, 2002. And then the waters came. At 2 a.m. on September 1, 2002, the raging Rotbach burst its banks and sought a new path in the direction of the Christian Eschler AG plant buildings.
