Fashion trends also affect car fabrics. Most recently car fabrics have come in light and, sometimes, lustrous colours. Such upholstery fabrics are obviously more prone to soiling, both as final products and during production. The desire to produce upholstery fabrics with a dirt-repellent finish, as expressed in the past, has become relevant again.
