Most exhibitors demonstrated a general williness to actively contribute towards producing higher quality textiles. Here, however, machine flexibility as well as energy and environmental aspects were in the forefront, and not so much being able to offer faster production and something new at any cost, but rather the further development of tried and tested processes and equipment. That is especially important in pretreatment, because it is here that there has been a tendency in the past to save in the wrong place. It will be seen which of the exhibited concepts are considered to be improvements and become established.
