The final objective is to construct buildings able to contrast global warming, reduce CO~2 emissions and increase energy efficiency. And from this desire to fight global warming by reducing the planet's temperature by 2℃ comes the name of the new Schueco envelope presented at the recent edition of Bau Munich. Called Concept Schueco 2°, this hi-tech layered envelope can adapt itself to the varying climatic conditions both indoor and outside. The Concept is based on automated sliding elements, as large as the storey height, able to supply thermal insulation, solar protection and electricity using automated or manual controls.
