摘要

This is the process whereby the results of initial type testing (ITT) provided by a door and window system house (system engineer, designer or other supplier) are transferred by contract. It is set out in Guidance Paper M. In brief, the system house grants use of the test results obtained by a certain system supplying components, designs, manuals, manufacturing and assembly instructions, conditions of use, care and maintenance, shipping, storage and installation guidelines. Components can be replaced under the manufacturer's responsibility and on the condition that test documents exist, attesting to the functional equivalence of the parts by the producer.
