In June 2003, Centra Software (NASDAQ:CTRA) released Centra 7, an application developed for meeting the needs of enterprise-level real-time collaboration for global corporations and institutions. Centra Software has a proven record of supplying collaborative solutions for corporations not just in the e-learning environment but also in the integration of business processes suitable for global disbursement. Simba Information, a leading market intelligence and forecast firm, named Centra the top "live eLearning" provider out of eight reviewed providers (O'Brien, 2003). This is the second consecutive year that Centra Software has received this honor. Through their online collaboration applications, Centra Software has improved the efficiency and profitability of over 1200 organizations, including Cadbury Schweppes, McKesson, Sysco, Viacom, and Stanford University and is partnered with Microsoft, Oracle, Siebel, Deloitte Consulting, EDS, and Cisco (Centra, 2003a).
