We hate devices. not all devices. We like, for example, coffee makers. We've always had a soft spot in our hearts for corkscrews. And we like those Gerber pocket pliers with, like, 65 little attachments. Technological devices are what we dislike. Put a chip and a screen on something and the early adopters start brandishing them like hoses at a house on fire. Styluses, fold-out keyboards, squint-friendly icons-you can keep them all.
