We're using Secure FTP (SFTP) for file transfer. Before the actual file transfer, we execute mkdir commands so that the required directories are available in the remote machine. However, if the directories already exist, we don't want SFTP to halt with an error. To circumvent this possibility, we run the script with the -mkdir option, which worked fine until we upgraded from V5R3 to V5R4. V5R4's SFTP doesn't recognize -mkdir as a valid command-line option! What can we do?
