ISUZU has developed and released UM4LC1TC (1.7l) marine diesel engines for small commercial fishing boat and small pleasure boat. Recentry, marine diesel engines on the small class have severe competition in terms of horsepower in the market, as well. This engine was newly developed, based on 4LC1 for industrial use, featuring high efficient turbo- charger with chargecooler, etc. This enables to achieve max. Output of 6.2kW (90PS), which is 2.3 times higher figure from the base engine, and top class performance was obtained within the competition.
