The Interstate 80 (I-80)/State Route 65 (SR 65) Interchange Project in south Placer County, CA, USA is a planned major expansion of the freeway-to-freeway interchange that includes new high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) and mixed-flow lane direct connectors, mainline expansion, and local interchange reconstruction. Traffic operations near the interchange are heavily influenced by weaving movements due to a lack of local roadway options and closely spaced interchanges.
