A company led by a former head of Israeli signals intelligence has developed an on-the-move biometric screening system "for security with convenience" at the airport.In-motion identification technology called SafeRise from FST21 was trialled for three months in 2012 at New York JFK airport by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Trials were planned with two other US airports, but IHS Jane's understands that these have been put on hold for unspecified reasons.
