The first of three Hobart-class air warfare destroyers (AWDs) on order for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) has successfully completed 21 days of sea acceptance trials off the coast of South Australia. According to a 6 March press release by the AWD Alliance, the consortium responsible for building and delivering the ships, Hobart is now on track to be delivered to the RAN in June.
