Several reports in March from US and Chinese news outlets detail the level that China's weapon designs are benefitting from transfers of US technological expertise. In one instance Chinese nationals who previously worked for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and other US research institutions have returned to China and used their training and exposure to the latest US high-tech research and development (R&D). This experience is then being applied to the development of a new generation of future Chinese weaponry.
