North Korea has criticised the United States' decision to reroute the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group (CSG) to waters near the Korean Peninsula following Pyongyang's recent military provocations. Washington's move "shows that the reckless US manoeuvres for invading the Democratic People's Republic of Korea [DPRK] have reached a serious stage of action", the Rodong Sinmun newspaper, a daily of the Workers' Party of Korea, quoted an unnamed spokesman for North Korea's foreign ministry as saying on 10 April.
