The Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) announced two separate requests for bids on 3 November: one for a short-range Precision Sniper Rifle (PSR) and the other for a medium-range Precision Rifle Medium (PRM). DALO is seeking a PSR that is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in the 7.62×51 mm NATO calibre with good ergonomics and weight balance. It should be capable of fast, accurate, and concentrated fire to defeat targets out to a range of 800 m. The weapon is required to be able to obtain a high follow-up on a fixed target, moving target, and several moving targets at short ranges.
