A US Navy (USN) nuclear-powered guided-missile submarine (SSGN) has completed repairs following a grounding in late 2015 and is expected to re-enter the water this week, officials told IHS Jane's on 5 January. The Ohio-class SSGN USS Georgia (SSGN 729) has been in dry dock for repairs following an incident on 25 November involving a channel buoy as the boat returned to port at Kings Bay, Georgia.
