The first Kamov Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopters being built for export will be delivered in 2017, according to a report posted on the website of Russia's Primor-sky Krai region: the home of the Progress Arsenyev Aviation Company that makes the helicopter. The report said the export order was awarded to Progress by the state arms export agency Rosoboronexport in October 2015. It did not identify the customer, but Egypt is the only country known to have ordered the Ka-52 other than Russia.
