The Pentagon's outpost in Silicon Valley, Defense Innovation Unit Experimental (DIUx), is shuffling its leadership as part of a reorganisation that includes a new sister office in the Boston area, Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter announced on 11 May. The reorganisation, which Carter is calling DIUx 2.0, includes removing George Duchak as the unit's director and bringing in Raj Shah as a managing partner.
