Rockwell Collins announced on 10 March that it had completed the sale of ARINC's Aerospace Systems Engineering and Support (ASES) business to US-based Field Aviation. Details of the deal were not disclosed. ASES provides a variety of aircraft modification, integration, and maintenance services to customers including the US Department of Defense as well as government, commercial, and private customers. According to a Field Aviation release, the acquisition will allow the firm to expand its operations to cover aircraft such as the Lockheed Martin C-130 Hercules, the Boeing (McDonnell Douglas) KC-10, and the Boeing E-6B Mercury.
