Land Rover's approach to the armouring of its range has produced a family of fully certified, fully engineered vehicles. Land Rover's factory-approved vehicles are considered as true armoured vehicles, whereas the products of some aftermarket armourers could be described as vehicles that are armoured. In today's uncertain world the protection of WIPs and key personnel is increasingly important. Land Rover recognises this with its armoured range, which has been engineered to meet not only the highest levels of security, but also to maintain the superior handling necessary to help avoid the addition of the armoured weight acting to compromise the dynamics of the vehicle in everyday use.
