The final 8 of 34 Krauss-Maffei Weg-mann Gepard 1A2 self-propelled anti-aircraft guns (SPAAGs) acquired from German Army surplus stocks disembarked in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 31 August. Following an official receipt process, the vehicles will conduct a firing session at the army's Evaluations Center before being sent to the 11th Self-propelled Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battery at Ponta Grossa.
