Rockwell Collins acquires ARINC Rockwell Collins has completed the USD1.39 billion acquisition of ARINC from The Carlyle Group and simultaneously announced the divestment of ARINC's Industry Standards Organisation and military Aerospace Systems Engineering and Support businesses. The deal - first announced on 11 August - reflects Rockwell Collins' strategy of growth beyond its core defence and aerospace markets and will, the company has predicted, shift the balance of revenues to 54% commercial and 46% military.
