For the second time running the Chinese People's Armed Police's (PAP's) Snow Leopard unit won SOFEX's Warrior Competition, which was held at the King Abdullah Ⅱ Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC) in Amman from 30 April to 5 May. Another PAP unit came second and a team from the Royal Jordanian Guards came third. The competition saw 35 special operations and counter-terrorism units from 19 countries competing in different events that tested their physical and mental endurance as well as their teamwork. Brigadier General Har Li, the commander of the winning Snow Leopard team, told IHS Jane's that the speed, accuracy and flexibility of his men were the key to their victory.
