Tunisia has requested to buy 12 Sikorsky UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters, the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) announced on 24 July. Estimated to be worth USD700 million, the proposed sale includes 24 7.62 mm M134 Miniguns, 24 .50 cal GAU-19 Gatling guns, 24 70 mm Hydra rocket pods and the ability to integrate'laser-guided variants of the rockets. The helicopters will be equipped with Wescam MX-15Di or Brite Star Ⅱ electro-optical/infrared laser designators, while the pilots will have AN/AVS-9 night-vision goggles. The countermeasures suite will include AN/APR-39A(V)4 radar warning receivers, AAR-57 missile warning systems, and AN/AVR-2B(V)1 laser warning systems.
