Taiwan's state-owned defence contractor, the Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology (CSIST), will reportedly begin production of a long range, high-altitude, high-speed cruise missile in 2014.The project, codenamed Cloud Peak (Yun-feng), remains highly classified, but Taiwan-based defence analysts say the surface-to-surface missile will have a range of at least 1,200 km, making it capable of striking targets in central China.
