The stand-off between Indian and Chinese troops along the disputed line of actual control (LoAC) in the northern Himalayan Ladakh region continues, despite two flag meetings between local commanders to resolve the impasse. India wants the People's Liberation Army (PLA) to withdraw about 40 personnel who set up a camp 10 km inside its territory at Raki Nala on 15 April. The camp is south of its military outpost of Daulat Beg Oldi (5,100 m), where the Indian Air Force recently reconstituted an abandoned airstrip.
