With shipyards at Williamstown, Victoria, and Henderson, Western Australia, BAE Systems provides a range of through-life support services for the Royal Australian Navy. They include integrated materiel support for the ANZAC-class and FFG-class frigates, and in-service support for the amphibious heavy landing craft. Other services include in-service support for the tactical data systems of the Huon-class mine-hunters, platform upgrades for the anti-ship missile defence programme as part of the ANZAC alliance, and support of the periscope system of the Collins-class submarines. BAE Systems also performs repairs, refits and maintenance across a range of military and commercial vessels, as well as deeper level maintenance for naval weapons and communication systems.
