Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has announced the creation of the Poland Armaments Group (Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, or PGZ): a new holding company that will consolidate all of Poland's major state-owned defence companies within one structure. Tusk made the announcement on 16 September, saying that Poland Armaments Group would focus "all of the key operating companies in national defence". The new group will include the recently restructured Polish Defence Holdings (formerly Bumar Group), Stalowa Wola, and 11 military repair and manufacturing companies.
