A co-contracting alliance formed by Dassault Aviation and Thales will lead the French Navy's Atlantique 2 maritime patrol aircraft (MPA) modernisation programme. Signed in Brest on 4 October, the contract - issued by the Direction Generate de I'Armement, but with the value undisclosed - covers the mission systems upgrade of 15 Atlantique 2 aircraft. The programme will be executed by Dassault and Thales in partnership with DCNS and Service Industriel de I'Aeronautique.
