Teledyne Technologies announced on 22 October that it had acquired Scottish firm CD Limited (CDL) for an undisclosed amount: the latest of a series of acquisitions in recent weeks in the UK unmanned underwater systems domains. Aberdeen-based CDL designs and manufactures a range of sensors and subsystems, including gyrocompasses, altitude and heading reference systems, and inertial navigation systems for use in remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) in the energy industry.
