Alliant Techsystems (ATK) has begun flight trials of the two Airbus Military CN235 twin-engine transport aircraft that it has converted into light gunships for the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF), the company announced on 4 December. With the first flight having now taken place, a testing phase will now begin to validate the newly installed weapon systems before delivery to the customer. ATK did not disclose when this handover might happen.
