Motorsport and military propulsion specialist Cosworth has agreed a strategic technical partnership with Singapore Technologies Aerospace (ST Aerospace) to develop engine systems for Asia-Pacific users of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). UK company Cosworth announced the memorandum of understanding on 15 February in a move that will combine Cosworth's heavy fuel engine technology and ST Aerospace's propulsion-to-airframe integration capabilities.
