The United States has bolstered its bid for the Turkish T-Loramids missile defence programme with a series of agreements announced at the Eurosatory 2012. In a significant development, under the terms of the agreements Turkish company Roketsan has become the sole-source global provider of Patriot Advanced Capability 2 (PAC-2) control sections to Raytheon and will become the sole-source global provider of PAC-3 missile single canisters to Lockheed Martin, should the US bid be accepted for the programme.
