The US Navy's Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light 42 (HSL-42) has embarked with four Northrop Grumman MQ-8B Fire Scout unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on board the Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate USS Klakring.Sailing from Mayport, Florida, on 29 June, Klakring is beginning a six-month deployment in support of operations off the Horn of Africa. It is the first shipborne deployment of Fire Scout since the navy suspended operations in April after two unrelated mishaps.
