Boeing's growing efforts to engage in large-scale co-operation with Brazil reached new heights in June when it secured a potentially landscape-altering partnership with domestic firm Embraer to develop and market the latter's KC-390 military transport aircraft.Boeing's involvement has given a massive boost to the KC-390's market prospects. It could even lead to future US orders for C-130 replacement aircraft as well as exports under the Foreign Military Sales initiative, which sees the US supply equipment worth billions of dollars to friendly countries each year.
