Greece is hoping to recommence efforts to privatise state-owned Hellenic Defence Systems (EAS) in a matter of weeks, after the latest deadline to start sale proceedings was missed. The sale of military and civilian ammunition and explosives group EAS was to be part of a wider Greek privatisation plan in accordance with the terms of the EU bailout of Athens.
