Guinea is preventing a ship from unloading a consignment of Bulgarian weapons destined for Mali, IHS Jane's can reveal. The move undermines the Malian military's ability to launch an offensive against the Islamist militants who took control of the north earlier this year and puts Bamako under more pressure to allow a multinational West African force to deploy to the country.
