The US Navy (USN) has tasked a panel of four three-star admirals to address mounting concerns over the manning and maintenance of both classes of Littoral Combat Ship (LCS). Created at the behest of Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Admiral Jonathan Greenert, the oversight committee will evaluate the results of wargames and internal studies to fine tune the LCS programme.
