Nato military authorities charged with developing allied capabilities must substantially improve their co-operation with industry, according to NATO's top military official for transformation, French General Stephane Abrial. Better exchanges of information and new public-private partnerships that include smaller and technologically innovative companies should be targeted, he said at a defence conference in Brussels on 27 January.
