Requirements for a tri-service distributed simulation network are expected to be confirmed by the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) during the next two months. The project, known as the Defence Operational Training Capability (DOTC), aims to link up all the simulation centres of the UK armed forces into a single network to allow inter-service training between units and personnel at separate locations.
