Digital analysis is one of the specialities of BAE Systems, and in the US two dedicated centres are protecting the company's network while giving customers an insight to network security capability. As the leading line of defence against highly-skilled and well-funded adversaries seeking to exploit intellectual property, dozens of BAE Systems analysts at the Cyber Command Centre in Virginia scour millions of databytes every day, to detect anomalous activity and counter sophisticated threats against the BAE Systems US network. While the centre in Virginia protects the BAE Systems network against cyber attacks, The Leading Edge Network Operations and Security Centre Environment in Columbia develops persistent threat defence technology, with the goal of transitioning it for use by the company and by customers.
