US Army acquisition officials have more closely aligned their efforts to buy new Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTVs) and modernised Humvees, which they believe has better harmonised the service's overall vehicles portfolio.rnLieutenant General Robert Lennox, the army's deputy chief of staff for programmes, said last year that the army's vehicle portfolio was "out of whack", but told Jane's on 11 October that he is "much more comfortable" with current plans.
