The US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is planning to increase investments for developing cyber security technology with a specific emphasis on offensive capabilities, according to the agency's top official."We need more and better options. Our assessment argues that we are capability-limited, both offensively and defensively, [and] we need to fix that," DARPA Director Regina Dugan said on 7 November at a cyber-security discussion hosted by the agency.
