Logistic support operations for British Army units in Afghanistan are to be concentrated at Camp Bastion in Helmand province to improve the efficiency of support for UK ground forces fighting in the central Asian country.rnThe transfer of several hundred logistic support personnel and thousands of tons of supplies and equipment from Kandahar Airfield is to be completed by June 2011, according to Lieutenant Colonel Dave Munson, who is responsible for logistic planning at Camp Bastion.
