The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) is considering reducing its Airbus Military A400M transport aircraft order by three, an MoD spokesman has confirmed.rn"We are looking for a suitable base to go ahead with 22 aircraft," the spokesman said in a statement sent to Jane'son 18 March.rnThe UK's original order was for 25 aircraft. The spokesman said that the revised figure had been reached "as part of the recent renegotiations... The UK contribution to the EUR2 billion [USD2.7 billion] price increase will be via a [reduction in uptake] of up to three aircraft."
