Prospects of enhanced defence co-operation between India and Saudi Arabia received a boost with Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz's visit, which concluded on 15 April.rnThe tour follows a state visit in February by the Indian prime minister to Saudi Arabia, which featured the first-ever talks between the two countries to explore areas of defence collaboration.rnThe Riyadh Governor led a large delegation for talks in both New Delhi and Mumbai with senior Indian officials, including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and President Pratibha Patil.rnAs during the February visit, economic, intellectual and security co-operation were foremost on the agenda.
