The Indian Air Force (IAF) has dispatched a global request for information (Rfl) to vendors for unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs) to provide the service with the capability to pinpoint specific targets without risking larger platforms. The Rfl, issued on 29 June, is seeking an unspecified number of "state-of-the-art" long-endurance UCAVs with a high operational ceiling and equipped with precision weapons and satellite data links, rhey would need to possess swift :ake-off and landing capabilities and i technical lifespan of 20 years.
