Demand for the services of US Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF) will continue to outstrip the additional resources directed toward it, the command's chief has warned.Speaking to delegates at the AUSA exhibition in Washington, DC, on 26 October, Lieutenant General John Mulholland, Commanding General of ARSOF, said: "We have grown. The [ARSOF] budget will have tripled since 9/11, but demand has quadrupled … We are five per cent of the army but half of US SOCOM [the overall US Special Operations Command].
