In the aftermath of the UK's Strategic Defence and Security Review (SDSR) in October it has emerged that the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) has yet to develop detailed plans to implement the wide-ranging proposals contained in the review.rnOne high-level Ministry of Defence (MoD) source told Jane's that the details of the review were finalised in a series of tense meetings in 10 Downing Street over the weekend before the announcement. As a result the outcome was recorded on "little more than a series of Powerpoint presentations and some Excel spreadsheets for financial planning".
