The worldwide market for tracked infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs) is expected to increase from USD4.9 billion in 2010 to USD7 billion in 2019, demonstrating that there is still a strong requirement for these platforms. This is despite many countries fulfilling their new IFV requirements and the increasing popularity of wheeled armoured vehicles. However, although the value of the market is set to rise, producers of tracked IFVs could find increasing revenues a challenge.
